I’ve had many low points in my life. When they happen, I really grieve for the situation, and when that’s done, I get back to work on getting myself out of it. I think many finally understand that there’s no going back. No one will rescue us. We have to plan what to do next, start where you’re the most comfortable and move up. If we’re to make a new America stick, we have to plan, have a coalition “welcome to the fight”, and be ready. This will take time. But look what the French Resistance did in Vichy during WWII. Vive la resistance !

Thanks Ninah. I have trying to tell people what the Republicans were up to since the Obama years. My activism is writing. My books are on Amazon by N. L. Brisson. Life may not be as good but it goes on.

Mine has been since GW Bush. I remember telling some Canadian friends to support politicians who want to strengthen their armed forces. They were horrified. But I told them they were like Austria in the 1930’s. Go to bed Canadian and wake up in the US. Considered an alarmist, I stuck to my guns. I’m guessing they’re remembering that about now.

GWB got me fired up too. Specifically his Invasion of Iraq. I grew up during Vietnam and saw Iraq as a repeat. In many ways it was worse. Take care.

I agree. It's hard to feel celebratory this year. Good piece.
